CONTENT OF THE COURSE
Strategic context for business analysis
This module explains the aspects of strategic analysis and its importance in discovering of the right solution options. It also stresses importance of aligning business objectives with project goals to ensure effective decision-making and prioritization.
Analyzing and managing the stakeholders
This module concentrates on identifying stakeholders, understanding their perspectives and influences, and developing strategies for effective stakeholder engagement to ensure that their needs are met and managed throughout the business change lifecycle.
Analyzing the current state
This module focuses on evaluating the existing business system or situation. It teaches how to gather information effectively, model and assess current processes and structures enabling a thorough understanding of the current organizational environment before proposing changes.
Establishing the target state
This module guides participants through the process of defining a clear and detailed vision of the desired future state of the organization.
Designing and defining the solution
This module is about outlining the necessary changes to processes, people, systems, and organizational structures to transition from the current state to this envisioned future effectively.
Developing a business case
This module focuses on creating a compelling business case that justifies the need for change. It teaches participants how to compile essential elements such as costs, benefits, risks, and impact analyses into a structured document that provides stakeholders with a clear rationale for implementing proposed solutions and changes.
Official EXIN exam
At the end of the last training day, delegates will take an exam.
FORM OF THE EXAM
It is a one-hour ‘closed book’ exam with 40 multiple-choice questions. Candidates are entitled to an additional 15 minutes if the examination is in a language that is not their native/official language.
The pass mark is 65%: 26 correct answers out of 40.
Candidates with positive exam results will receive the EXIN BCS Practitioner Certificate in Business Analysis Practice.

COURSE MATERIAL
Delegates will receive a binder with slides, additional hand-outs, and access to online sample exam questions. Additionally, delegates will receive the BCS publication “Business Analysis, 4th edition”. If they already have this book, then alternative will be provided: BCS publication “123 Business Analysis Techniques”.
